Fall Decor

So, for any of you that don’t know, I LOVE fall. I am one of those pumpkin spice enthusiasts that can’t wait for sweater weather. I have always had a passion for home décor, and wanted to share with you what I put together this year.

I love to browse Pinterest and Instagram for any inspiration and tips. One awesome tip I came across this year was to delegate specific areas to decorate. This way your Fall décor doesn’t seem to be randomly placed in every nook and cranny, but comes together to make a nice focal point. This is also a good tip to go by if you don’t have too much décor stashed up.

I am super frugal, so everything I have displayed I didn’t play more than few dollars for or are handy-downs. Seriously! And some items are from WAY back when, when my sister and I were in 4-H Home Arts. (An AWESOME program by the way!)

Here is the wall that you see across the room right when you walk in our front door.

I didn’t use too much here but I think it’s just enough. I had the great idea (well, at least I thought so) of getting a chalkboard sign to hang that I can change up for every season. One purchase – endless possibilities! Pretty cool right?! The one shown is from Hobby Lobby. The other Fall items I used here, the pumpkin along with the leaf garland, I got from Wal-Mart.

The other area I decided to focus on was our built-in area.

This is just a fun place to decorate because of the glass doors you can put stuff in on display. This is where I used some of my sisters and my craft projects which include the mini pumpkin quilts and wood pumpkins.

Other items I used were: chevron pumpkin & leaf mug – from the 99 cent store; craft string – Amazon; large silk leaves and clothes pins – Wal-Mart. Simple but super cute. I am currently using the moto: less is more.

And last I wanted to throw in a few photos of my table right now… loving my antique plates and easy center piece.

I would love to hear any of your tips or take-a-peek at any of your fun Fall décor. Comment here or tag me on social media using hashtag #BackroadFallDecor !
Happy decorating!
